Country Critters was created with one goal in mind:
To provide the finest possible care to all companion pets and animals.
The business is proudly owned and operated by Karen Hanna (Founder & Top Dog).
Karen has been an animal lover her entire life and has a wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with all kinds of critters. She has studied extensively to become certified in animal health care, dog clipping and grooming, hobby farming, small business management and first aid. Karen has owned many animals including horses, emus, ducks, pigs, chooks, turkeys, lizards, ferrets, pigeons, galas, parrots, magpies, wallabies, kangaroos, dogs, cats, frogs and possums.
She is passionate about animals, their quality of life and has turned her love for them into a unique full-time business. Her ambition in life is to earn a living doing something that she is passionate about, meanwhile contributing to the happiness and quality of life to all the
animals she meets. One of her true joys in life was becoming a SA Fauna Rescue member, which gives her the opportunity to hand raise birds, possums and joeys which she adores as they become special members of her critter family.

That’s why we encourage every dog owner to have their pet regularly groomed where we conduct a basic health check to make sure your loved one is in good physical condition. A healthy pet is a happy pet, and a happy pet can help us enjoy a much fuller and rewarding life.

Today more people are cat lovers than ever before, and it’s easy to understand why. Cats provide us with loyalty, companionship and affection. In return, it’s our responsibility to make sure our feline friends stay healthy and happy. Because they are independent creatures, cats health needs sometimes goes unnoticed. To enjoy a long and healthy life, a cat needs support from its owner. Country Critters can help as we stock good quality cat food, flea treatments, worming tablets and grooming.
