Poop scooping is an unpleasant but necessary choir that no-one enjoys doing. Dog faeces is more than just a nuisance – it can pose a serious health hazard. Why? A number of common parasites, including roundworm, are transmitted via dog faeces. When infected dog droppings are left on the ground, the eggs of the roundworms and other parasites can linger in the soil for years. As a result, anyone who comes in contact with the soil also comes in contact with the infected eggs. Dog waste contains bacteria and parasites, as well as organic matter and nutrients, notably nitrogen and phosphorous. Children run the greatest risk of infection because they’re prone to play in the dirt and then put their hands in their mouths or rub their eyes. Even adults playing sports ect in the backyard could be in danger. Parasitic infections can make humans extremely sick, and for pregnant women, can pose serious harm to their unborn child.

What We "Doo"
We can come to your home once or twice a week and thoroughly remove all the dog poop from your yard. You do not have to be home while we clean up and we don’t mind at all if your dogs are present. If your dog is a man-eater that’s ok, all our technicians are women and we always offer a tasty dog treat (with your consent) so your pooch is always happy to see us.
When your technician arrives, she will scoop up and bag all pet waste as well as any small rubbish that’s easy to get. We then double bag it, tie it off and dispose of it in your wheelie bin. On leaving we make sure your gate is shut securely. For your pet and yard’s protection a disinfectant spray is used on our tools and boots between each yard to prevent the spread of disease. You will be happy to know that every Country Critter technician wear’s a clean and tidy uniform and our service van is clearly marked so you will always know if Country Critter’s is in your yard.

If you decide to book our service on a regular basis, we do ask that you pay monthly in advance – we want to spend our time servicing you and not wasting time chasing up money owed.
